Calculating TGP
Though your CTGP is written on the report card you should know how to do it. Add your grade points in the main ten subjects, and then divide it by 10.

For example, if your grade points for the five main subjects are:

Subjects
Grade
Grade Point
 Malayalam I
A
8
 Malayalam II
B+
7
 English
A+
9
 Hindi
A
8
 Physics
C+
5
 Social Science
B+
7
 Chemistry
B
6
 Mathematics
C+
5
 Biology
C+
5
 IT
B
6

 Add the grade points: 8+7+9+8+5+7+6+5+5+6 = 66
TGP=66
Calculating the percentage from your TGP

In order to convert your overall TGP into the percentage
Perscentage= TGP*100/90

For Example 66*100/90 =73.3%
